Never say never
When I left my last Canton City Council meeting almost four years ago, I told myself (and anyone that would listen) that I was done with public service. I had run my last campaign.
As the Yiddish adage says, “Mann Tracht, Un Gott Lacht” (Man plans, and God laughs). It would seem that public service is not quite done with me.
I am officially announcing that I am running for Canton City Council for Ward 3. I bring to the table a deep connection and love for this city, experience serving in city government, a steady conservative voice for sustainable growth, and a desire to serve my fellow citizens.
I am very proud of the things we were able to accomplish during my first tenure on the council, and I look forward to the opportunity to build on those accomplishments and help steer our city on the right path for the future.
I look forward to meeting and talking with as many Canton citizens as possible in the next months leading up to November’s election.
I also look forward to once again serving the residents of Ward 3 as their Council Member.
Never say never!
